Hi there, I'm Andrew 👋.

I love startups and am grateful every day to be involved with them. Currently, I am the cofounder and co-CEO of Ascend, a fintech startup that automates payment processes for the $10T insurance industry, with my cofounder and friend Praveen Chekuri. Additionally, I actively advise startups and invest in supporting amazing entrepreneurs trying to make the imagined future a reality. I am based in San Francisco.

My past experiences have been extremely formative and I'm grateful for what I've learned from them. Some highlights include:

• I cofounded Sheltr which was acquired by Hippo Insurance in 2019

• I worked at Looker (acquired by Google for $2.7bn in 2019) as the Product Manager responsible for consumer product.

• I was an early employee at Instacart, joining in early 2014, where I managed all of the product catalog and pricing teams.

• Before getting into tech, I was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Senegal working on economic development projects.

In my free time,I enjoy open water swimming in the San Francisco Bay and around at the Dolphin Club. Some of my favorite swims include Bay to Breakers, Catalina to mainland LA, and the width of Lake Tahoe.
